Patti graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in physical therapy. For more than 40 years, she has specialized in the field of hand therapy. Patti has been active in her national organization and was President of the American Society of Hand Therapists in 1991.
Her dedication to a high level of clinical excellence continues and she was involved in the development of a national certification examination in the specialty of hand rehabilitation and became a Certified Hand Therapist herself in 1991. Committed to the certification process, she served as Examination Chairperson for many years. She continues to lecture and publish in her specialty field while providing care for patients suffering from upper extremity problems including fractures, lacerations, and repetitive trauma problems.
